2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 2000-2001 wheel ?

Will the aluminum rims from 2000-2001 fit my 1997 if I have the lip taken off of the rear drums? Is there any problems with them fitting on the front? I just got a set of 285 tires. Will they look better on the newer wheels because they are 16x8? Thanks Pete

Yes they will work. I put a set of 2002 on my 95, machined rear drum and they work great. I run 315/75/16 and they work fine on the new rims.
