Can someone post a link to this TSB? (19-008-03)

I will be going to the dealer for the trans line and PCM TSB's, and I want to get this one done as well. I want to read it before I go in.

Thanks.

Ken.

Just a note to let everyone know, I had the PS hose replaced on my truck when the two applicable recalls were done about a month ago. please be aware that all it did for my truck was possibly, and I mean possibly, delay the vibration by one to two miles an hour. Where it used to start at about 68 to 70 MPH it now starts at 70 to 72 MPH, so don't expect this replacement to be the cure for everyone.

I would like to find the cure because as it now stands I don't drive at 75 MPH very often or for extended periods because of the vibration. I can feel it in the steering wheel the accelerator pedal and through the seat, it is also visible in the interior rearview mirror.

But maybe I am halucinating as the service tech says he can't replicate the problem when he drives it!

After reading this post and many others about the vibration, I consider myself lucky in that the tsb took care of the vibration that I had.

The TSB fixed the rpm related vibration I had. I still have driveline vibration that starts shortly before 75 mph, but I don't drive over 70 anyway. The techs in my area can't replicate the problem because they will not drive it that fast.

That power steering hose was a nasty vibration from 60 to 70 just like a switch was turned on. It was a HUGE difference just pulling threw the dealer parking lot. My friend with his 2500 2wd H. O. 48re 3. 73 rear said he HAD no drone or vibration. Took his in at 35k for a few items and I told him to get them to order a hose for his. He did and called me from his cell phone and said DAMN I didn't know how SMOOTH it could be. I guess I thought I didn't have a vibration issue and how WRONG I was! He thanked me several times for getting him top get the TSB done on that hose. :D

I got mine done after taking the truck to the dealer I bought it from - no problem and really made a difference. The local dealer by me said they did not see the problem with the vibration.

My vibrations were not too bad, but I wanted it done anyway. It really took some convincing but they finally came to there senses and did it for me.

I do notice less vibrations at the 2000 + rmp range as was expected. I also saw minor reductions in vibes at idle which was bugging me more. It still vibrates at idle, but does not produce the deep bass rumble that it sometimes did before.

IF you don't have the weighted hose, you might as well ask for one the next time you see your dealer.

Got mine done with 43,000 miles. Great service department didn't argue with the TSB just did it.

Forgot to say did wonders for the truck rides sooooooo quiet now even with the Flowmaster... . No drone at 65-75 mph (2100 rpm)

Hey obie 1 did you take it to the dealer here in town or did you take it out of town. I tried to get them to do it here and they told me it doesn't apply to my truck. I was just curious because I have to go back for something else and I will probably say something about it again.

Here in town talk with Brad the service guy they started that stuff on me that they couldn't find the TSB (VIN appropiate) so I just a search on this site found the TSB from GENO'S, printed it and showed them.

Hope that helps if not pm me

Obie 1 thanks for the tip. I talked to Brad the first time I went in. I have to go back sometime this week and I am going to take a copy of the TSB with me. We will see what happens.

Doesn't work for everyone

Had mine replaced, still have 2100 vibration between 70 and 75 and get a nice hand vibration from steering wheel at Idle .
