Certain engine #s lift pump recall, mine was one. Only time I have been back to the dealer. No other problems. Keep bombing, the only way to go. :p

No recalls on mine (out of the fuel pump SN range). The only thing mine has been to the dealer for was a bad pressure switch on the AC last summer. I do have a bit of a 'catch' when trying to shift gears. It will be going to the dealer in the next month or two to get that taken care of before 36k miles.

Wondering if anyone has heard of any recalls on TSB's on the earlier 6 speeds? The last dealer tech that worked on mine indicated that the newer 6 speeds have a different synchronizer setup, and they had retrofitted one older 6 speed. It sounded like parts alone were over $1000. Mine is still stiff going into 3rd and 4th with 16K on the clock.

Shelby,

I've got a copy of TSB 21-009-01 NV5600 Countershaft service that I received from the dealer the other day. I'll a copy under my original thread as soon as I can get it scanned.

Brian

Brian,

You want to post a link in this thread when you get that scan posted? Not sure what the other link is, and that way I will get notified. Dosen't matter too much for me, because I got a new transmission, but would like to read about the changes.

TSB and recalls don't apply to every 2000 year truck

You'll have to go by the dealer and have them run your VIN number to see if it falls under any recalls or TSB's. My '00 fell under the lift pump recall, but it did not fall under the front axle, trailer hitch, recalls or ecm stumble or manifold bolt tsb's.

Check my VIN for recalls...

Can any of you guys post here what the recalls are and for what VIN #'s?

I've heard of these recalls, but I don't know if my truck fall under any of them. I'd like to know.

Lift Pump

Front Axle

Trailer hitch

ECM stumble

Manifold bolts

Are there any more? Thanks for your help.

Jyro,

You need to click on the link that Kat put in his post. It will take you to the TSB's listed in Fritz's site. There's so many bulletins there's now way we could sit here and copy and paste them onto a single post.
