Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2000 3500 with a 2001.5 engine

Ok i have a 2000 3500 that I put a 2001. 5 engine and ECM in and I was wondering does that mean I need the 2001-2002 tuner for it or will a 98-2000 tuner work with it?

If you mean a tuner such as an EZ that plugs into the map sensor you need to match what's on the truck now.
