2000 jeep grand cherokee limited ?

My wife drives this jeep and i was riding in it last week and had the heat on with dual climate controls. Her side works fine but on the passenger side it only blows out cold air,the numbers on the controls still work to bring temp. up and down but it isn't heating. Any ideals i could look at before taking it to the dealer?Thanks

A guy I work with had a GC about this vintage with the same problem. He took it in to the dealer and they told him the blend-air door actuator had gone bad and its pretty common. It was $800 to fix at the dealer so he just traded it in.



I'm sure the parts are much cheaper and most of that was labor. Good luck and hope its an easy fix.
