Do it!

I can't tell you if it will fix your low power problem, what I know for sure is that the ECM has to recalibrate itself after a "prolonged" power down.

Disconect the batteries for about 30 minutes.

Once the batteries are conected again turn the key to the run position ( Don't start the engine!!!). Slowly press the go pedal to WOT, slowly release it. Do that for 3 times. Turn the key to the off position. Wait for about 30 seconds before you start the engine. Done.

Maybe it helps your problem, maybe not...

I was going to wait until I had more data, like pulling something heavy, before I posted back but I was asked on another thread if I had reset The APPS yet so I thought I might as well post it here too.

I reset the APPS last night and as far as I can tell it did nothing for the lack of power over 2400 RPM's. Like I said though I would like to do some more testing first before I commit to it doing absolutely nothing, and that could be awhile.

RonsRam1999; Check your fuel pressure and your fuel lines from the lift pump to the engine. Also check the Fuel Return lines to make sure they are not restricted.

By the way I have a Brother that lives in Minot. He left East Coast to go back up there in 1976. He married a NODAK when he was in the Air Force.
