Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2000 to 2002 fuel filter housing

Hello all



Is the 2000- 2002 filter housing different than the 1998-5 Thru 1999, my question, is the line in and line out, do they come in from the side and go out thru the side or do they come in thru the top and go out thru the top like the 1999.

On my 02 they come in on the side and go out the bottom.

My 2000 is the same way. Nothing on the top of the filter for inlet/outlet.

Yes the lines attach from the sides on the newer housings, But the filter is way easier to change as the black plastic top screws off and on.
