I am looking at a 2000 Dodge, Sport Model equipped with Cummins engine, 4x4, Auto, Quad Cab, Short Box, fully loaded with all options with approximately 60,000 km and in absolutely mint condition.

Other than the Block 53 and lift pump problems, what other things are potential problems with the 2000 trucks?

If I do acquire the truck I would also like to replace the manual trailer folding mirrors with smaller power heated mirrors. Is this possible?

there are problems with the valve body in the trans. mine went out around 28,000 miles replaced under warranty at the dealer with a new revised valve body. Get the vin # and take it to a local dealer and they can pull up all the repairs that the truck has been in for. Good luck. :D

I bought my 2000 4x4 2500 in late 1999 and I still love this truck today :D

I have replaced/repaired:

Lift Pump @ 15K and 27K before I relocated it ;)

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor @ 30K Warranty :)

Leaking Brake Master Cylinder @ 35K Phew, Warranty :p

Leaking Vacuum Pump oil seal @ 56K Thanx CPFF :D

That is all I can think of :)

BTW, I was 89% DTT converted @ 28K :D :D :D

Turbo tim was right...

I PM'd him as soon as I saw the post. I am more than happy to trade him my 2002 mirrors for those he has.
