This sounds similar to a leak I had on my 2002 HO truck a few years ago. At first glance it looked as though the leaking lubricant was coming from between the transmission and the bell housing, however, upon closer inspection the leak was coming from the seal on the power steering and vacuum pump assembly.
It is common for that seal to leak. It started very small but within a few weeks became significant in the driveway and the parking spot at my work.
Pulled the power steering pump and vacuum pump then separated them and put in new o-ring and seals. Leak stopped. Then it took me several months to get all of the "old" leaking oil off of the block and harnesses etc...
I found the leak by crawling under the truck with my head next to the oil pan (driver's side), coming in from the front of the driver side tire. I then looked back and up towards the area between the steering wheel and the radio inside the cab, and sure enough found the actual leak.
It was very frustrating to clean the engine not see anything leaking and then wihtin a few days seeing evidence of sweating horsepower.
I hope this helps eliminate a possibility.
