2001 Dodge 24 valve, 5 speed that was running poorly so putanew lift pump and and a Injection pump Installed. Now the truck had a bad miss? They check the Injectors and 3 and 6 showed up and were cleaned. Now It has a jerk when you start It up cold but when warm up goes away. Now when cold It start the same thing over again until warm up. Any of you had this problem and solved It?

if yo uhave a temp gun get it up to temp and high idle it. check to see what the temp on each cylinder is. the isb didnt have many problems except for the pumps and less commonly injectors. if its only when its ocld make sure that the intake heater is working properly also.

I wouldnt call it bad (yet) but mine developed an intermitent miss with my new VP. That was a few years ago and i understand they have changed since then so maybe this is not related. Although the miss is more prevalant when abient is cold but eng temp doesnt matter. goes away with slight load, i. e. AC compressor.

Alot of 24v's have a "hiccup" or miss in idle. Exatly how Poorly is it running? All the time or just at idle?

Did your truck have the codes that led to all the injection work? I personaly would first change out the MAP and IAT sensors, recalibrate the APPS the way DTT say to do it. and if you have good fuel pressure THEN look at the injection system if the injection codes were not present in the first place. Also, if you are stock, and your turbo acuator is a bit lazy, you will get a overboost code which will also turn your truck into a dog. The sensors can raise a variety of power problems as well as hot/cold issues. they are relatively cheap and easy to replace.
