Hey there Guys on a 2001 5. 9 I need to replace the lifter pump and I was told by some one that there is a problem with one of the pumps on these trucks not being able to run strait veg oil because of cooling issues. Is the lifter pump the problem or is injector pump? What pump would you recommend to run Veg oil threw? I will also be doing a relocation kit at time of new pump install. This truck in bone stock so it doesn't need any racing parts if you know what I mean. Thanks Steve
 
Issue #54 of the TDR has good information on BIO fuels. Apparently, 100% is not good. It can cause the engine oil to solidify, destroying the engine. Better read it before you make this choice.
