2001 3500 Extended Mirrors

As anyone installed the new 2001 extended
mirrors that come on the 3500 duallys.
They are black in color and look to be
elec powered. I would think they should
bolt right up. And any ideals on cost?.

Unless something new has come out, the 7 X 10 Flip Mirrors are manual and non heated.
DC now offers a kit that includes additional bracing for both mirrors at less than 300.

I haven't added them yet but will when I resume pulling the race car trailer.

They are $214 and come as a kit with reinforcement plates and all. Part number for the kit is 82206157. My local dealer wanted 270, I told them to take a hike, call mopar4less. 1-800-748-2139 or they are on the web too. Be aware they will be on back order for a while due to short supply and high demand.

anyone in the new england area that has a 2000 or '01 looking to swap mirrors , i have a friend that just purchased an '01 with the tow mirrors and wants the electric ones ... it could be a time consuming swap if the wiring is not already in place , any takers email me. thanks

I'd love to but am not in the New England area. If you don't find any takers maybe he can check for wiring or we could arrange a long distance swap some how.
