I am new to the forums so please excuse me if I am posting in the wrong area or not formatting correctly.

I have a 2001 3500 24v that has only 24k miles on it. (it sat for like 7 years) I have no power for about 3 seconds after pressing the pedal. I will let you know what has been done so far..

Reset APPS
Checked lift pump (in tank Dodge retrofit) 10 psi
Checked fuel pressure (11-12 psi)
checked VIN specific codes including transmission (None present)
replaced fuel filter
checked APPS position on computer, showing pedal movement 0-100%

When in gear when you depress the pedal the engine goes up to about 1200 rpm then sits for about 3 seconds then spools up.

This happen all the time, but only when in gear. I does not show up when in neutral or in park.
I was told that the engine might be derating but not sure how to check that.

HELP!!

Snoking.. Forgot to mention that this has been my daily driver for the last 4 years. This problem showed up about 2-3 weeks ago and has been getting a little worse, it was only a very small lag before maybe 1 second or so. I only drive about 10 miles per day and live in California. No smoke and air box and inlets are clear.

Thanks for the info. I just called Bluechip and they are willing to send out an injection pump (paid for) and if it is not the pump they will take it back. Pretty damn good customer service. The guy on the phone said he was not 100% sure that was the issue so that is why he could extend that offer. Man I hope it is something much less expensive than the pump though.

Bare bones stock. Nothing changed from the factory except the "in tank" Dodge recommend lift pump upgrade.

Checked all the Intercooler hoses, nothing obvious.
