I have read back 8 pages on pads in a search forum. Any new input? I am leaning towards PFC's. The last OEM cost me 200 and now at 40,000 I'm close to gone again. Thanks

look into a exhaust brake... . it would pay for itself in 3 sets LOL

I'm at 95K now and live in the mountains , read in very twisty and winsy roads and steep hills... . on first set or pads still, just ordered new ones cause I'm getting ready for a 5er not because their done. .

I use the exhause barke 99. 9% of the time. . only turn it off at stop lights so it don't bug others.

order from Sam Peterson [TDR member] good guy to deal with and knows his stuff. .

Ditto on the exhaust brake and Sam Peterson.

It looks like diesel DOG has the A/T which will complicate an exhaust brake install.

diesel DOG, EGR brakes on my truck , I'm real happy with them. They stop a ton better than stock, and last alot longer. I have 25000 miles on them they look new no ridge on the rotors. With stock pads I was changing them 25-30K.

Same here, I put on the EGR brakes and I was amazed at how much better they stop. The E-brake is a very good ideal, but nothing will beat the EGR up-grade.

Went to AutoZone to ask about the pads for the truck and the lifetime guaranty. Some here said they bring them back when wore and get new. The guy told me just warrantied for manufacturing defects not wear. Then tried to sell me different brands for front and back. So I split.
