My truck has arrived at the dealership late Thursday afternoon and will be "prep'd" on Friday. Due to work schedule I won't be able to drive it away until Monday. Oh well, in the words of brother TDR member D. Dressler it looks like I'll be doing a little "pre-planning" this weekend !!!

Hey! I am happy your wait is over. I am just a freshman and along way to graduation. Just ordered a 3500 QC HO 6spd 4x4 camper package,trailer tow packageg, etc,(Same as I have on my current 97). Hated to trade but in the best interest of saftey had to have a higher GVW. Will accept this wait fairly easily as I waited 6 1/2 months for the 97. Boy did I come up with some new words durning that wait.

I just picked up my 2001. 5 ETH/DEE this morning. The thing runs and brakes much better than my 97 did. The dealer said the rebate stayed at a 1000. He said it didnt change at all. Are you sure Bigsaint???

My "salesman" is my father, the sales manager at the dealership. I'll check with him tomorrow. I know he stated that the incentive was up'ed to $1500. 00, may be this was "dealer cash back" ? I'll post as soon as I get the correct term. Sorry in advance if I mislead anyone. I was under the impression that this applied to all buyers !?!

THE WAIT IS OVER !!!!!!
I picked up my new truck today and now all is well again. The truck drives straight and has an incredible amount of power through out the gears. The four wheel disk brakes are real nice as are the quad doors. For all of you still waiting, believe me, it will be worth it when YOUR special day arrives !!!

Can I "borrow" a phrase used by a fellow TDR member?... "I love the smell of diesel in the morning"(and now my addition)"It reminds me of VICTORY !!!!!!".
