Worth of 1948 Dodge Dually Flatbed?

Need more energy?

Anyone seen one of these. I have only once before on the interstate in New Mexico.

This one was parked at the same hotel I stayed in on South Padre Island, TX.

It had Mexico Tags, so I assume that they are only offered down there. A really neet SUV though, I would mind having one myself.

It also had the "SPORT" front end, bumber & grill. Did not see what engine but the tail pipe is a gas burner.

What do y'all think. Would you have one?

If they make a 3/4 ton in diesel I would buy one just to BOMB. I can just picture that thing smoking the back wheels... . oh baby.

It is ugly in a good way..... :D

And yes, they are made in Mexico for Mexico only. They aparently do not meet the DOT or whatever standards for US sale.

I did a quick search for Dodge Mexico and this turned up... ...

El Dodge is el differento

Would I own one? In a heart beat! Tailgate looks like it operates like the Grand Cherokee, which is the best design, IMHO. Now, add smoke, and you have a winner.

It does look like some wierd crossbreed. It would probably be popular here to compete with the Rav 4 or something. Anybody know if it ever will be here?

I have seen twice between Lubbock and Abilene a Ram charger, Ram-based four door hatchback Tahoe-sized SUV. Some other Ram people have seen this. It is Patriot Blue, don't know who made it. Has a 360 V-8 I believe. Anyone else in Texas seen this thing?
