2001 Govenor Spring Kit any diff. early yrs?

have look at most of the threads pertaining to the subject of Governor Spring kits, which I find most intriguing. I was just wanted to know if everything I have been reading also applies to my 2001? I didn't find the part number for this kit on BD Powers website either. Are there some other brands to consider? I know springs are springs but maybe someone out there has a favorite brand?

I think that the governor spring kit only applies to the P7100 pump used in the 12V engine.
