I have 54,000 on my 2001. I have the drum rear brakes. I've had her slightly over a year and I've been watching my front pads and now I need new ones. (Little towing-light under 3000 lbs). Does anybody know if there is a difference in the 2001 pads vs the 2000. My problem is that the parts stores are telling me that they have no listing for the 2001's as yet. Did they improve the brakes so the horror stories of 7-10,000 mile brake jobs are gone? Also the brake shops around here want to do everyhing include replacing the calipers - standard big buck approach.
