2001 or 2 3500 SRW Quad cab, Short bed with a 5600. Youv'e never heard of one either? Well somebody should kick my buddy in the teeth because he claims his boss might be buying a used one. Supposedly the owner "special ordered" it from the factory this way... I have yet to see it but he won't listen to me:-{}#@$%! Oh, and the truck has been dynod at 802hp. Stock VP and an HX40 by the way...

No, No, it's possible. I saw those options on the list next to the ones I was getting when buying my 01. I was ordering the diesel electric hybrid drivetrain, the solar panels on the roof to power the in-dash microwave oven, and R2D2 (from Star Wars Fame) bolted into the bed to help as my navigation system. :-laf

on a (semi) serious note... run the vin number to see what it was when it was born! not too tough to add a couple 3500 badges to the sides of the truck! then again, maybe i could sell my truck for a premium if i swap the badges? Hmmmm, subversive marketing at its best!

2nd gen 3500 where all duallies. There was no SRW option 3500 until the 3rd gens in 2003. Could have a 2500 like mine. The NV5600 gets you the Dana 80 hybread (D80 center with D70 hubs) and then add in the camper package and you will get basicly a 3500 SRW.

Tell your buddy I have the numbers and there were ZERO 3500 SW's built before the year 2003. Also there have been ZERO 3500 SB's built before the year 2003.
