Can anyone tell me with any certainty if the 2001. 5 Auto's went 100% electronic cruise control or did they still use the speed/cruise control servo?
I've done a manual to auto swap and also changed to a 2001 Auto ECM because the anti-stall feature in the manual ECM caused a romp, romp (bucking) feeling at stops and heavy brake pedal effort.
Now the auto ECM has fixed the bucking and brake effort but my cruise light is on all the time and my CC does not work. I'm hoping its just an early 2001 ECM and its looking for the CC servo.
Any help would be appreciated.
