May be a little early for the brakes, but noticing a little grouving of the rotors and do not want to really score them. First time I have ever done my own brakes on any vehicle ever, so please bear with me.
Have the SM.
Front:
When I take the front rotors off I am not sure from the SM that I will be taking the hub part that has the bearnings and seals in it off to get the rotor off. If I pull the hub & bearings & seals then I want to have purchased a set of seals in case I damage a seal getting to the point I can get the rotor off for resurfacing.
Rear:
Apparently you have to pull the axle out of the dana 80. Then the rear wheel assembly with bearings and seals and rotors comes off (right)? Sounds like I should have a set of seals for that as well. Rotors will be resurfaced.
Should you carry a set of front and rear bearings and seals as a general precaution?
Any and all opinions and thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Any particular pitfalls to watch out for?
Pads comming from Sam Peterson.
Have torque wrench to torque reassembly to correct specs.
