I'm not big of the Avalanche but it sure looks like this guy did it right. Since it had the 8. 1 he started with a 3/4 ton truck. Junked the garbage IFS front end and hung a Dana 60 under there. Divorced NP205, 4 speed Allison, 5. 9 Cummins. I'm impressed.

Wow, I do hate the plastic avalance but



a 12V cummins, solid axle chevy (IFS sucks), leaf springs!!! Wow what a sweet combo, great job on this truck... Would be cool, not for 20k though

I saw that truck at the lima and indy 4x4 jamboree's. The guy was telling my cousin it was a CAT motor. In my opinion it didn't accelerate like it had 500 to 600HP, my puny 410hp pulled away.
