Does DC do anything right. I just got some pictures of the 2002 Ram from a friend at work , who went to the chicago auto show. The shots show a good view of the interior of the alleged 4 door. The pictures show that the truck appears to have descent rear leg room, until you look a little closer... . The truck has the front seat back straight up, not leaned back some like you would drive. If you look close you can see the seat tracks of the front seat sticking out the back of the seat, showing the seat pushed WAY forward, also the front leg room is not much. and another view shows the front edge of the front seat is WAY forward of the front edge of the center console. My 2000, the seat front edge is even with the front edge of the console seat. so these pictures show me that if you put the seat back where an average height male would drive, you lose the rear seat leg room, back to about that of a current QC. Now with the door that is hinged on the front, It makes iteven harder to get in the rear seat. NICE JOB DC, I think I'll stick with my 2000 QC for a long time. I am going to go to Kinko's and scan the pictures to a disc so I can get them posted asap, but had to vent first.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but after reading all the stuff on car-truck.com and pick-up truck.com I was under the impression what we are seeing is a new version of the quad cab and this is not the crew cab everyone has been waiting for. The crew cab is to be out in 2003. I may be wrong, but like I said I was under the impression what we are seeing now is Dodge's new version of the quad cab for the "next generation" RAMS and a "true" crew cab is still to come (maybe with the 2003 HD????)

I had to look real hard because I thought those were photos's of a four door Dakota... when I looked at the rear doors I just new it wasn't... the Dak' has bigger rear doors #ad

The Dakota 4 door is also called a Quad cab, and as far as I know this is the 4 door. I am e-mailing the pictures to JP, who said he could get them posted on the site, I hope it works, Unless someone else can do, let me know asap via e-mail, and I can send the 4 file out. .

The flip down table in the back is a good idea opposed to the QC. I carry alot of equipment that needs to be warm in our company '99. The floor is too lumpy for all our equiment with the current configuration, so the seat stays down and is covered.
