2002 intercooler install

I posted some new pictures in my readers rigs under file name intercooler. They show the mounting and cut-outs with the intercooler in and out. I took these when we were changing the camshaft so ignore the big hole in the front of the motor. I may have all this done in time for first gen day. I hope so.

I sure hope you make it to the First Gen Party. I was kind of bummed when I heard that you might not make it. Also I thought you were going to lead me up there. Oh thats right you were going to bring the trailer so you could pick up the pieces of my pickup as they fall off. Pics look awsome. I am taking my old girl in to the shop before we go. I dont want to be at the bottom of the dyno list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man I'm working on it. Cam and intercooler are done. I am hoping to have a stage 2 o-ringed head here around the end of next week or so. Once I get that on I will install the twins. I figure it will take a while for me to sort out the bugs with that. As long as it is together and running ok I will go. Maybe someone can help me fine tune up there. I'll keep you posted.

I looked in the reader's rigs, and cant find RonA. Dont tell me he is no longer a TDR member. I know he had his 92 up for sale a while back, but dont know if it sold or not.

I have one out of a 24 valve on my 12 valve which is bigger than what came with it.

The High Output 24v engines got a bigger intercooler than the Std Output 24/ 12v.



An aftermarket replacement would be more efficient, but one also has to consider the money to buy it.
