Where can I get a rear cup holder for my 02 like the ones in the 01, since DC thought us 02ers didnt need them along with rear wheel well inserts, girly visor mirrors, painted radiator/intercooler, hood pad, oh s@#* handle on passenger side, etc. . hey but I got rear discs.

Try a junkyard

Try a junkyard. It's on 1500s -3500s. I bought a grab handle off a 1500 4X4 and installed on my 02.

I would also like to add the cupholder.

What confuses me is, you guys don't have the grab bar on the passenger side. Are you talking about on the a-pillar?

I have a grab handle on my passenger side a pillar. It is one of the last 02's, built in May, 2002. I wish I had the hood insulation, but then again, louder is better!!

Same here, built july 02, with the handle on the passenger pillar. I am wondering if there is supposed to be one somewhere else??

Hi 02 owners. just the group that can help. I have just finished putting guages on my 93 and need to start the 02 install, but find many different port and pllug locations. where is the boost port? is it above the lift pump and in front of the map plug I think that is what its called. egt no problem, lift pump guage, I have the grease hose and pts from Genos and it looks like it connects at the fitting in place of the plastic cap by the injection pump. Then there,s the transmission temp, suggestions on placement of the sender and hook up would be appreciated. Did any of you run the wires and tube thru the speedo cable grommet or a different firewall breech? i,m useing an a pillar setup. tks for help

On trans temp, order the 90+ dollar transmission cooler line for a 95 model Cummins 2500-3500. It has an external port for a temp sender (which is inside the transmission on your truck). You can use the empty port for your sending unit!

You'll spill just a few oz of oil when you change the line out likely.

Good luck

Us '02 guys got some weird trucks! I have the grab handle on the passenger side. My truck also has the vacuum disconnect on the front axle, which it shouldn't have. But this means I can put a 2WD low kit on, so that is cool. Also my truck did not come with a resonator on it, just a muffler. But someone stole my muffler, so know I have nothing. Anybody else have these oddball features on their '02?

Southpaw,

On my '02, I drilled a hole for the boost fitting into the air intake horn, as I think most of us do.

I think my approach to the fuel connection was a bit unique because I have never seen anyone mention here in the forums. Basically I cut the hose coming from the metal tubing from the filter housing, inserted a tee and hooked the two hoses back to that and ran another hose off the tee up to the sending unit (Westach). Sending unit is on a bracket I fashioned which is attached to the "throttle" cover area, in front of the air intake horn.

The only somewhat "Continent" grommet I can find is the big one to the lower left of the master cylinder. Thats where I fished my EGT, Boost and FP through to the "A" pillar.

Gee, I forgot: this post was originally about cupholders. Upon taking delivery of the truck, I bi***ed to the dealer about the untinted windshield and lack of cupholder. He worked with me but in the end I only got the cupholder. And I had to install it myself (PITA). But it was free. But that was at delivery time, so I don't think that would work for loganHill02 at this point! I was also wise enough to rob the hood insulation off my '95 2500 before trading it in.

southpaw-

Get the boost gauge fitting from Piers for the 24v. Replaces one of the intake manifold bolts with a hollow unit to connect the gauge. Quick, easy and no permanent mod to the truck.

Not the A-Pillar; The passenger headliner

I have the A-Pillar, but they eliminated the grab handle over the passenger side door opening. Junk yards are a great place to find "accessories" I paid 5 bucks for the handle and screws/the dealer wanted over 40 bucks.

After reading this post - I went over to look at my dad's 01 and sure enough he has the grab handle over the passanger window... I know my wife would like one there. My dad also has a cup holder that pulls out of the front center seat - looks usless as it does not pull out far enough past the seat to put anything in it. Is this suppose to be in the rear?
