Has anyone tried to increase the amount of rear breaking on the 2002 2500 models (4 wheel disc and abs) Thought with the 4 disc system the balance would be better but... ... . not even hardly a trace of brake dust on the rear rims after 500 miles (need I say what the front rims look like?)

Did not see a proportioning valve making itself available like in the older models.

thanks!

About any car that I have worked on that has 4 wheel disc brakes never has very much brake dust on the rears. Even cars/trucks with 4 wheel drums, the rears always out lasted the fronts 2 to 1. The fronts have been designed to do about 2/3 of the total braking.

Thanks, Motorhead,

Figured I could do as I used to do with the Fords I have run in the past... adjust the proportioning arm slightly to allow that "little extra" braking ratio.

:D

Happy Driving!
