Just found out today that the 2002's already have a $1000 rebate. If you're buying a 2002 truck make sure you take this into account.

GREAT NEWS! I also think theres a 300. 00 tool box allowance for commercial use. That Would total 1300. 00 in rebate money. In 99 Dodge also threw in a extended powertrain warranty if you had a CDL License, although i dont know if the same promotion is running in 2002. The Big Three are hurting right now and every bit HELPS!;) ;) ;)

I faxed my dealer this morning telling him that I'm aware that MSRP's did not increase from 2001 to 2002 as well as the fact that Dodge has a $1000 rebate in place on the 2500's and 3500's. Therefore, the deal that we made in May should not change, and that's the paperwork I'm expecting to see this afternoon when I go to pick up my truck.

Haven't heard anything back from him yet... guess we'll see what happens. Thanks for the information, fellows. My $35 investment may have just saved me at least $1000. Pretty darned good ROI, huh! :D

Wow! Its hard to believe that DC would already put out a rebate on such a new truck. The Dodge dealer next door to my work just got a shipment of 12 brand-new 2001's! Yes,all of them were 2001's. They are going to have a hard time selling those off when DC is already giving rebates on the 02's.

Thats Awesome News!!

That means that I will walk out the door paying less for my 2002 model than I was for a less equiped 2001 model and I get all the features I want.

Ray when you get your invoice and truck in please keep us informed on all your dealings. :D
