2003 3500quad cab windshield seems to make sounds

has anyone had this problem with their windshield making noisessort of popping doesnt do it all the time

I had the same problem, its the black plastic on the air intake for the HVAC, in front of the windshield, and around the windshield wipers flopping in the wind and making the noise. It gets worse when it is cold. Get a tube of black windshield sealer and lift up the edge of the plastic and put about a nickle size gob every 3 or 4", then push it down tight, that stopped mine.
