Is it this?

If so local parts house has a set for $145. At 190k I think I want to change them before I am stranded.

The Federal Mogul number is a 515061 hub assembly... I can only assume that the BR number you supplied might be the correct one. . but a different brand... .

Joe D. I had no problem pressing a known good one apart and later back together after inspection, cleaning and greasing with a full synthetic grease... My powered press, was no more than about 15 ton that we used to press apart some clutch and air compressor parts... our wish to press apart and back together was to see if in fact grease supplied through the ABS sensor port would reach both the front and rear bearing... . in our two examples. . a Ford and Dodge hub... grease supplied through that sensor would in fact migrate to both bearings within a few miles... our test was 5-8 pumps of grease off a normal grease gun... so when we had the trucks apart for annual inspections we'd grease those hubs... .

I had no problem using the power steering method of getting mine apart. It didn't even labor as much as turning the wheels does normally but rust is only a minor issue here.

IMHO, the ONLY one worth buying is the Timken. I get mine from Amazon nowadays.

Many of the other brands simply will not hold up, and that lifetime warranty is not worth a thing after you tear the front end apart several times. Been there, done it.

That price you show above for a pair just screams "Chinese import price fighter" to me.

You have a heavy truck by design carrying a lot of weight on the front axle. Don't skimp on the front unit hub/bearing if you do any long distance driving at high speeds.

Timken Part Number is HA590032.

Just being devils advocate here. What if you keep greasing a cheaper bearing? Still lasts doesn't it?

Likely not. The cheaper bearings have a habit of developing soft spots and scoring that causes issues no matter how much grease or how good it is. That is the real danger of those types of bearings, quality of build.

Humor me here guys. My . 03 has about 76,000 on the clock and after reading this I am worried about the amount of grease inside the hub. I have read about greasing through the ABS port but is it as simple as removing the sensor and just squirting about 5 pumps into the hole??? Doesn't that just squirt the grease all over the tone ring? I tried searching youtube for a video and only found one and it was slide show. Any advice or guidance here would be appreciated.

I recently purchased the timkin unit bearings from rock auto for about 150. 00 each. The same part number mwilson referenced.

In the next couple weeks I am going to see if I have a bearing bad or a ujoint. if it is a ujoint I am going to throw some grease into the sensor hole. I assume it is a good idea to get it down as much as possible, but should move around as needed.

I hate doing ujoints. or maybe the ujoint gods hate me.

The drivers side u joint is the issue with my 04. It looks like rust coming out of a few caps on the joint and there is play in the joint. I'm replacing the u joints, ball joints and unit bearings while I have it apart.
