My 2003 Ram 2500 4x4 has 210,000miles on it. How long before the front wheel bearings are likely to go? I replaced the rear wheel bearings this past summer. I'm interested in other experiences!
Mine have 246,000 on them and I have removed them twice while doing u-joints and ball joints. If you have to replace them do a search on my user name for a way to remove them both in under 1 hour with no cussing or bloody knuckles including taking off brakes, tires, etc.
I'm guessing the wheel bearings on the front ends of the '03s are pretty similar to those on my '01. I just blew both of them up within 1000 miles of each other, with 119,000 on the clock. Truck has had an 8. 5' plow on it since it was new.
