How about some photos of under the hood and the air cleaner box. Would love to see how the duct work is done. Anyone know of any other functional hoods for the diesel. Would like to see them all before I pick one.

The hoods on that page only list gas engines for functional ram air upgrades. Did they just forget to list the diesel or are they only for the gassers.

I have this Good Hood ordered since November of 2003. It is a functional hood that uses the AirAid Intake. I talked with them on Monday and they expect to have this hood in production toward the end of August.

The hood molds are done just putting the finishing touches on the air box. I should be done in the next couple of weeks. Then I can do some air flow test with a manometer so I can put out some data with the debut of the hood.

HEY Doug!!! Good to see you getting back-logged... again. I know that your plate is pretty full with this new hood, but I'm dying to hear if you're going to make another functional air dam. I feel that when it comes down to standard cubic feet/min. of air flow, the air dam is a better source of air than the hood... but I'll believe your testing results if proven otherwise. Did I mention how much I like the 100w landing lights in the dam you built for me? Oo.

Greg how are you and Mary?

The dam air only has a 4 inch outlet compared to the hoods 6 inch that is the only problem, the dam air moves a lot of air. The hood by its self will make a 1/2 lb of boost between the top air filter and the turbo at 70 mph on the level. I don't have a way to check the dam by its self until you get one on Marys truck, so I guess I better get one made. Oo.

Nothing personal, but that looks like one of those ugly aftermarket hoods that go on a 80s camaro, did you pay money for tha? I would be embarassed to be seen in that. Just artistic impression. Since I don't have an airfilter in the middle of the valve cover on my 04 , I don't think that would be doing much good. Let the ford guys drive the cartoon trucks. I think that the dodge is such a work of tough looking art that you can't do anything to make it look better. I'm not trying to be personal but I've seen too many fords running around with the wanna be monster truck look and never saw a dodge truck trying to look that way.

Run all the hoods you want as long as they are not those """SUPER GAY""" stick on hood scoops. The Lund hood scoops that stick on are by far the most idiotic truck add on to ever hit the market, we tease the hell out of the FURDS that run around here with them on. I would like to get a set of them that are magnetic and stick them to my doors and drive around yelling "HEY LOOK MY GAY SCOOPS MAKE ME GO FASTER" maybe I could put them on the roof so I could look stupid like the FAST AND THE FURIOUS CARS.

I talked to him not too long ago, seems like maybe 6 weeks ago, and he said he was having to get out of the hood making bussiness for health reasons but, His son was looking to take over and he would call me when they were getting close to haveing a 3g hood ready. I live here in pocatello.

Hasselbach, that movie was "Corvette Summer" I haven't thought about movie in years. Tons of great cars in that flick in the cruising scenes.

I agree with you on the 'Vette, but the black Firebird with the Formula dual scoop hood and the shaker in the middle was BadAss!

Annie Potts wasn't too shabby either!! lol
