I had my truck at the local dealer because my check engine light was on and I had lost overdrive. This is the third time this has happened. The computer diagnostic tool indicated that it was a idler shift problem, but the fault code was for a gas model and my truck is a diesel. The tech pulled the bottom computer relay plug on the firewall, cleaned some of the electrical connectors, plugged it back in and it ran fine for about 10 miles and it has occured again each time I have to pull over, clean the connectors and I am good to go for another 10-15 miles. The dealer can't figure out what the problem is.
