2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 2003 disc brakes -> 2002 ?

Is there a possibility of swapping the 2002 disc system with a 2003 disc system? ie larger brakes / area

Haven't looked......

But the axles are made by a different manufacturer. Somehow I get the feeling that the flanges may be different.



I upgraded from drums to the 2002 discs and you'd be amazed how many little things they changed.



Your best bet is to find someone with an 03 and yank a wheel off and look for obvious changes. If none, it may be worth looking into.

Good point, I forgot that the axle mfg were different.



I can put electric over hydraulic disc on the 2 RV axles and that will make up for the extra margin of safety I am after to stop the truck and RV.
