2003 marine c-series 480 hp

i am going to look at a boat on friday that has a 2003 c-series motor with 500 hrs on it. i am looking for any known problems or if generally it is a good motor with no known common problems.

if yo uwant give me the esn and I will check for campaigns, I am the marine service person for cummins metropower and I deal with those on a daily basis. they have ne real problems, except for minor oil leaks. some times the c series have caps pump problems but not much on a boat. they are excellent engines.

i have been a part of boatdiesel for a while. i have yanmars in my boat.



we went and looked at the boat, and really liked it. i will pull the serial numbers and any help you can provide woudl be greatly appreciated.
