Hey all any help here would be greatly appreciated. My 2003 just started overheating. I checked the DTC codes with my Smarty Jr. and It has thrown a code for decreased engine performance due to overheating condition. I changed the thermostat, no difference. The wire that goes through the shrould to the fan is intact and the fan clutch isn't showing obvious signs of being wore out. I did notice that I can't here the fan engage anymore when driving. Is my problem the fan clutch or the signal for it to engage or something else?

got it figured out. It was the clutch fan. It didn't appear obvious but I did some research on here to figure out ways to test the fan clutch. I have installed another run and we're back up and running.

Thanks.
