2003 Quad shorty 4x4 SO 48re with EZ and drop-in AFE on 315's



Best time after about 10 runs is a 16. 104 at 83. 4mph



Tried it in 2wd once = 16. 3

Tried running 50psi and 35psi in the tires -no change

EZ on Setting 3 =16. 3

all other runs have been 16. 1xx



Was really hoping to get into the 15's but looks like I'd have to spend more $...

Borrow someones 245-16 tires and wheels. That might give you the 15 second pass.

might help - have to be 17's though (to fit the brakes).

Mine ran a 15. 9 at 84with just an ez and afe kit and exhaust. I was rolling on 315's at the time too. Mine is a 5 speed SO. I think my 60' were in the 2. 0 to 2. 1 range launching in 4x4.



How about a set of injectors and a turbo? Low 14's

My 60ft times are 2. 2 - Did you notice any change on just the exhaust? My boost pressure is hitting 37 when it shifts into OD (right at the 1/4 mile trap) and I'm wondering if I need to pull the stock muffler. Also wondering if the stock airbox is hurting me yet. Filter Minder has never moved though.



On my 2wd run, I did notice that my 60ft times got worse but MPH did better at the end of the track - do you shift out of 4wd during the run?

swivel What boost are you leaving at? Try building about 10 pounds of boost and launching. I don't know if I would go higher or not with stock shafts in the transmission.

Usually 10psi or so - did one at about 13psi. Also did a few at less than 5psi - changes my 60ft times but not much affect at the end.

Swivel, you're hitting 37# with the stock turbo? Did you disable the wastegate?

Stock turbo - Boost elbow is installed - before that 25psi

I had the exhaust long before I had the EZ, but it felt like the exhaust helped on a stock truck. I never used the elbow with just the EZ, it felt almost slower with the elbow. I ran a DPP exhaust at first, then ran strait pipe for awhile, and now I run a DPP muffler and the stock over the axle pipe and the down pipe that came with the turbo.



I shifted out of 4x4 in 3rd gear, and I felt it come out of 4x4 when I shifted into 4th.
