Benson, your correct about Chaprell. I found a couple trucks that match what I'm looking for.

This pic is from Melton Sales-

HVAC:

I just put together a package of information about my deal with Chaprell Dodge in Ada, OK for Benson. If you'll PM me with your e-mail address, I'll send it to you also -- I know you two fellows are not competing for the same truck.

Sounds Interesting

Benson will prolly go for a 4x4 cause he's like 6'4" and would hit his head getting into a 2wd:-laf I'm like 310 and can't get off the ground so I'm able to slump right into the 2wd;)

I'm interested in whatever info you have.

RMH,

Dave Smith Motors had several trucks meeting your description when I was up there a couple of weeks ago to purchase mine. I ended up going with a 2500, but remember looking at quite a few 3500 QCs. I'd give them a call. (800) 635-8000.

BTW, I am looking for a 2wd dually CC with the 6-speed trans. My color is red. You know what engine I'm after:)

The "HEMI"... ... ... . lol I have both a cummins and a hemi, the hemi is a good "GAS" motor, but i love my CUMMINS!:D

Hemi

You got it, the hemi DIESEL:)

Think about it, the injector is dead nuts centered on the bore, like a hemi:cool:

I think we finally located a truck that I'll be happy with. It doesn't have the fog lights (I'll retrofit some), the steering wheel radio controls, or the light group (no big deal). It does have the LSD, the infinity sound sys, premium seat, rear fold down cargo deck, keyless entry, trailer tow grp, bodyside moulding, bug shield, trailer tow heated flip up mirrors, and of course the all important leather wrapped steering wheel;)

I had located a slightly more loaded truck but there was a mix up and turns out it wasn't available for a dealer trade:confused:

I'm gonna love those 4-wheel disc brakes and that extra gear in the transmission.

Just a little note:

I tried to buy my truck in Ada Okla. But Fenton Mtrs. in Stillwater Okla. Beat them on Price.

Ok. Trucks

The truck I wanted most was in Duncan OK. But for some reason they didn't have it available when they origionally said they did. Not sure what happened there.

A dealer in Ark. had a well equipped truck but they weren't in the mood for a dealer trade.

Third choice was a truck in Admore OK which had the more important stuff I wanted. Looks like that's the one I'm getting.

The fourth truck on the list was in Stillwater at Fenton Motors. The problem with the one they had on their lot was that it did not have the infinity sound system. Nor did it have the steering wheel radio controls. But it had everything else!

Hey HVAC

When I was looking for a truck I went to Battisons in Duncan and Carter County Dodge in Ardmore and hated talking to the salesmen there. Brad Fenton in Stillwater is alot more friendlier. PM or email me if you need me to look at a truck need some help out here in OK.

Oklahoma Dealer

jhurst,

You've mentioned some names I'm familiar with. The truck I wanted most was in Duncan. Melton tried to dealer trade for it and the result was now you have it, now you don't. They told me it was a deal last week and then for some reason the truck was NOT available:confused: It was totally loaded! : (

So plan "B" was to trade with a dealer in Arkansas. They wouldn't talk with Melton at all

Plan "C" was to trade with the dealer in Ardmore which is just what happened. The truck is at Melton's now waiting for me to pick it up. It has the Infinity sound sys and a lot of the options I wanted. No fogs though, I'll add them later. No steering wheel radio controls, sounds like that will be too much to retrofit. I can get by without that option.

So, if you have the energy to march over to Melton's and check my truck out I'd owe ya. I would speak to the salesperson and authourize him to let you drive it too. I don't want to go all the way back there just to find out it had body damage or mechanical issues. Fact is I'd pay you to take it somewhere to check the rear diff and trans (six speed). I hope to get back there this weekend.

I'll email you with my email addy.
