I had a ujoint go dry at the rear axle so I replaced both u joints on the rear drive shaft with greasable joints from NAPA now it seems as though there is a vibration in the truck from 60-65 mph. all yokes were marked so that shaft went back together in the same configuration as it came out. Any thoughts? I am thinking of pulling shaft out and having it balanced but am running out of time I leave for Alabama on Saturday.

If both joints are the same, are the grease fittings 180* of each other? Not sure if that would be enough to feel, but it wouldn't hurt to check. I did the same on my 02, with driveshaft in same position and fittings opposite each other, no vibes. Also remember, these driveshafts aren't balanced that great from the factory, a good driveline shop could probably find them out of balance right off the lot, so if you have too, I wouldn't think twice about rebalancing it.

I did put the fitting in line with one another for ease of lubrication which is something I have done on all other trucks in the past and had no problems. I think I will call drive line shop and see if they can rebalance it tommorrow. Thanks for the input.
