truck can be started when temp below 60 by pull start, starting fluid, or pluging in block heater. checked temp at grid and compared temp to another 03. grid works. truck runs fine after start. dodge dealer replaced 2 injectors last winter for same problem.

This may sound silly but load test each of your batteries. Neighbors 04 was also cranking with no starts and turns out one battery flatlined but the other was in good shape. Two new batteries and away he went.

I had similar problems a month ago with mine. Part of the problem was a bad battery in a new set. Replaced both with a new set of better quality batteries and truck would start after long cranking times. The battery causing the problem was the one that is grounded to the ECM. I took it to a good independent diesel shop where they suspected crossover tubes and possibly injectors. After a good discussion with the tech I opted to change all injectors and crossover tubes as I plan on keeping this truck for a long time. This engine has never started so quickly or ran so quietly since new. It is a totally different engine. My wife even noticed a major difference. It was an expensive fix but so far well worth it.

truck has new batteries. mileage 119k, truck is stock. dealership installed new lift pump same time injectors were installed

Does the truck start fine when it is warm? If so, maybe you can get by with a re-torque of the connector tube nuts.

I feel your pain. I joined the "I need injectors club" this week with a long cranking/no start problem. My 03 has 98,600 miles(under 100K warranty). Dodge mechanic says all 6 injectors are worn, but Dodge will only replace two at a time... ... ... .

I want my old 12 valve back!
