Just got in a really bad accident with my nicely equpped 96 baby. I'm afraid she's totalled. What I'm wondering is if they make the 03's in a cab chassis model. If anyone has any info please let me know. Thanks.

I'm not absolutly positive, but I don't think Dodge makes a cab and chassis model just yet.

i thought that you could do a "box delete". that would give you a cab and chassis model.

Rammin Dodge does not offer a Cab & Chassie for 2003 but they do have a new box off options that is now avaiable from the factory. I'm hoping Dodge comes back with a cab & chassie in 04, but no word yet. I know it has cost me some business.

Nothing, just different wording. I don't know if they still offer a bed delete though.

Butt, the cab and

chassis was a reg cab only. Now (if its still avail) we can get the qc in a cab/chassis by using the "box delete". Not sure if its still an option as when I look at the DC site to build mine, it says its no avail????? Sew the question is... ... ... and the ans is ?????????

For commercial applications, it would be good for DC to offer the regular cab on the 160" chassis, for addition of a 12' bed. You can't get that will a bed delete option.

that is a very good point and something that i didn't think of...

I passed a dealer the other day and they had a new '03 without a bed on the lot. I don't remember if it was a regular cab or not, though.

Gthiessen, do you happen to know how much the box delete option takes off the sticker price? Oh say on a 2wd reg cab 3500 6 spd HO ST model. Thanks.

In 2nd generation trucks a Cab & Chassis had a heavier duty frame than a box delete would give you.

Well, you could get a 9' bed anyway, and on that truck, it is a looong sucker!!

Rammin it is a credit of $352. 00 on invoice. I did check and the box delete is on restriction right now. They have at TBD status right now which means To Be Determined at a later date. I do miss the 163' wheel base in the cab & chassie. Greg
