I am thinking of getting a 2003 for my wife. It will be a daily commuter and some off road driving in the desert. I'll be keeping my 2001 for me. My questions are has DC done anything to address the steering problems on the 4x4's I know there are probs with drag links and proper tracking ect. Any advice on what to order. I'll have to get the auto as wife has an old motorcycle injury and can't use a clutch. I looked at Toyotas ect but for the money you can't beat a Dodge w/cummins. I'll probably order it from Chaperell Dodge in Ada OK thats where I got my 01 and they are a good dealer. If you had it to do over would you do anything different? Thanks for any advice.

RichB,

I would not be concerned about the 4X4 steering, as Dodge has done a remarkable job on this issue. They have even changed the steering ratio on the 4X4. The new 03' Dodge 4X4 is very nice when it comes to steering, and they have gotten rid of the ball joint on the end of the track bar as well.

All I can say is to go drive one, I think you will be very impressed!
