With that said, you STILL haven't said whether or not the 305/555 project is abandoned or still going. We get such conflicting answers.



In any case, I wouldn't buy the juice/attitude for the 305/555 at this point anyway, there are better options out IMO.



Jwilliams - according to your post's logic, then nobody should have replied at all, we should have just let Edge announce their product... ? If you don't like being exposed to any sort of tough questions/comments, maybe this isn't the forum for you. . ? No offense, but most of us around here like to get real answers, and aren't afraid to stir up the pot a little to get some info. . Also considering how Edge has strung us along for this long with the 'one more month' stuff, I don't think they have some tough questions they have to face.

Go build your own chip if you think it that easy jesus there are a lot of other companies out there you don't have to go with edge I stay with edge cuz the have worked well with me and the local to where I live in other words you already got some other chip so quit crying about it they know they missed the ball on the 555 but they will still come out with something

My my my, everyone wants to banish the 03 04 crowd. Those of us with 45 ft lbs less are not worthy of opinions.



The point others are attempting to make is be up front and honest. It makes perfect sense for a company (at least one that wants to stay in business) to write off 2 model years worth of customers if you know they are not going to produce any more of that product.



It only makes since to work on the 600... ... . but say that.



Don't say we are working on it... . next month..... almost there... . next month... ... . we want it to be right... ... next month, still working out the bugs... . next month.



I recall a thread from a month ago where the president of Edge was quoted to say that now that the 600 was perfected all efforts would be directed to get the 305/555 out... full court press time!!!... ... . next month.



Now Mr Juice comes on and says that now that the Juice/Attitude is perfected and out we will now direct our attention to the finite number of customers that we have been stringing along..... next month... ... .

you fail to remember that these computer control trucks are extremely complicated. IT TAKES TIME to develop the software to make it work. The market for potential sales vs. Invested capital (R&D costs) showes a higher return on the 600's over the 555's. Pretty simple economics.

Might I note that TWO companies have released boxes for 03-05 trucks, one that is 140hp, and one that is 150+ hp



and they both made them for the 03,04, THEN the 04. 5,05s - Why did these companys not have tons of problems when the 03-04 were new??



It just seems it was a lack of want, not lack of ability (not get the 03-04 juice to production) Because I DEFINITLY believe EDGE has the ability to make a box right



That said, I can't wait for the 03 JUICE HOT - Just to see the next step of 3rd gens hp ability

I have to say that working with Edge has been an absolute joy! I love my EJD3000AWAM. Had it on the Dyno 408 HP 786 FT/LBS. Course it will probably do better when there is more then 400 miles on it and the stock air restrictions are addressed! One question... . Will the stock fuel delivery system be able to keep up with the highest setting on the HOT box? I noticed on the dyno pull that on level five it kind of falls short like its running out of fuel at 2800 rpms. Will there have to be a inline helper pump installed like with the TST Box? Have Matt Clark give me a call.....

My Juice/Attitude still doesn't work as advartised

Like JVolpe, my setup does not display transmission functions as described in the Edge advertisements. I received a call from Aaron with no definite plans for a solution. Why would anyone want to buy a product that doesn't work as intended? I use the TDR as a sounding board for any of my decisions to buy products. If anyone wants more specifics, either John or myself can share our Edge experiences. I hope that someday they use some of their leftover engineers to correct this situation. I think I have a 2 year warranty but I don't want another box that doesn't work.

All kidding a side We 305/555er would Love Too see the product release of the Hot Juice or Extreme Hot Juice.



How about a High Performance ECM that replaces the stock ECM! Think of that no more codes. All the boost fooling, fuel pressure fooling, timing and duration. Without the stock ECM to trick. I know the $$$. I would pay $2k for something like that.

Maybe thats a diesel stained dream I have.

I'm not sure what this incredibly incoherent run on sentence with no punctuation is actually trying to get across. :-laf But all I can say Rchamberlain is I'm entitled to my opinion about edge and the juice and I'm free to post it. I know I'm not the only one ticked off at edge for jerking us 305/555 guys around with the 'one more month' thing.

Edge is a private company and is free to do what ever they want. If they decide never ever to build a 555 box, that's their call too. Gee Lighty, you seem to take this as a personal slight against you, like Edge personally did this to upset only you (which obviously it has ).

Well the HOT Juice has been on for about an hour or so. I took the Quad Xzillaraider Race box off Sunday. I do believe I have a Quad Xzillaraider Race box for sale or maybe trade for an EZ to stack. I am in the city so not much room or time tonight for playing. I did not really think the 40/60/80/100hp settings would be any different than the standard Juice was, but SOTP they seem to be. The box seems smooth as standard Juice, maybe even smoother. I did a few 0-60 runs to see what it felt like. Level 3/3(80hp) 0-60 7. 9, that is better than the standard Juice did on same hp setting in 2wd no boost launch. Level 4/4(100hp) 0-60 8. 1, could not stop the 315s from smoking in 2wd. Could not really get going on Level 5, even rolling would just smoke the 315s. I will have to get to the dyno and track this weekend. I am going to call about the DTT trans upgrades tomorrow. I cant stand not being able to launch this thing in 4wd with a little boost on Level 5. I will let you know what I see, but right now I am very happy with the HOT Juice.

Well I forgot to mention, no codes, no issues with install. After multiple installing and uninstalling the 4 boxes I have tried so far, I am getting pretty good at it. Took about 15 minutes including tie wraps and mounting the Attitude on my steering column.
