Just picked her up monday. Dealership did not even know it was the new 600 Cummins. Not surprised, though. Anyhow, I have been lurking here for about 2 weeks, trying to do some reading and learn a few things. There is SO much information, though, that it gets to be a bit overwhelming. I definitely plan on modding the truck. Picked it up to use as a tow vehicle for our race car. I run an import shop in Charleston and we race our Civic in East Coast Honda Challenge.

Any advice would be appreciated, guys. The first thing I will do is opt for an exhaust system - needs more sound.

I talked to Mark at TST and he is unsure as to whether their new box will work on the 600 yet. If it does, that seems like the way to go, I guess.

Curious on airboxes, though, what is the general consensus? Are most the same or does one manufacturer stand out?

Thanks, all!!!!

Congrats on the truck. If your looking for and intake get the afe kit... 210 bucks on ebay.

I have a question for you. Do you think any of those big import turbos would be good for our trucks. My buddy has a rx7 with a 20B running a turbonetics thumper :). Just wondering. .

Welcome Fast4Dr, I would suggest the Scotty III and AFE as my top picks for airbox.

I would get a few miles on the truck before BOMBing just to give it a chance to break in first and make it easier to work with the dealer should there be some initial warranty-related issues, but have fun with your truck :)

I will not BOMB her just yet. Exhaust will be first. Is Banks the best way to go? Does it get rid of the bottleneck?

Also, any opinions on the BD RAD II? Its supposed to get rid of the sluggishness in 1st/2nd.
