Anyone had problems with high altitude. When at high altitude over 5000 feet and pulling, check engine light comes on and if you turn of engine, MAP sensor shuts down power. Runs but no power. Will reset over night. Will run fine as long as you don't shut off. Had new MAP sensor installed but still does the same thing. Have Attitude Edge chip, and never run over level 2, tow mode, AFE air filter, stock fuel pump (which may be the problem) and straight thru muffler. Has auto trans. and pac brake also. When not pulling heavy load, everything is fine.

no problem here at 5000 feet and both of my trucks see 11000+ feet all the time.

Cycle your key 3 times(dont start truck) and end up in the on position and look in the odometer readout, it will show what codes you have.

I I just returned from a trip out west first time with my truck. Truck ran great seemed to thrive on high altitudes I was some what surprised. John

Two codes, one is P0234 and the other is PO236. Engine overboost condition and 236 is TC boost system. Will take codes to dealer and see what needs to be done. if anything.
