I’ve got 397 k on the truck, with flux 100 hp injectors just got done installing them, Shane’s 10mm cp3 Hamilton pushrods and 103 lb springs studded had the head worked doesn’t have any cracks. Running some of guys tunes. my concern is my turbo could be giving up?
Egt 500 idle in drive truck at operating temp.
450 in park idle operating temp. it will easily shoot past 1000 when I pull off from a red light and maintain 850-950 while cruising on flat ground at 60 mph empty.
Also it seems like something is loading the engine up while driving . My edge evo says app% is 24 and load factor would be 34% before I sent my injectors off the load was never more than the pedal position but sometimes it did fell like the Peking brake would be set for some reason. New hub assemblies on front new calipers rotors and pads and front lines, hydro boost power steering pump , brake booster I’m puzzled even took the front drive shaft out but no change.
could the torque converter be loading the engine up like that??

With larger injectors load should be down compared to cruising with the stock injectors.

If there was new drag it would take more pedal %, the load only responds to pedal input.

Where is your pyro probe located?

What are the tunes you’re running?

probe is on the exhaust manifold foot just before turbo. 5&6 cyl side
Fummins tuning lvl 2 which is basically a tow tune. I’ve flashed it back to stock and still the same thing. Seems like the egts climb faster and drop slower when on stock. the more I press my accelerator the percentage of app increases along with load factor, load is a consistent 5-10 % higher than pedal position. I know I don’t need to go off the edge for anything. I do have a drive pressure gauge I need to install. Also after the 10mm stroker pump install I’ve had that gear phasing clickity clack noise and I’ve tried to do the procedure multiple times with no luck of getting the sound to go away.
also it seems when the truck is operating temp I’ve got a rhythmic skip or stutter around 1500 rpms

Jeeezh, that is a cold exhaust you have, almost frozen, I see 1200 all the time and up to 1500 if a step hard into it.
Stock tune, stock Injectors, stock all.

Stock tuning will easily hit 1450°, so nothing crazy there but with tuning and advanced timing those temps may be unsafe. A tow tune likely isn’t too aggressive on timing though.

if remember right
on a hard acceleration 8* was what I seen for timing

Check your brakes and see if one is dragging.

Could also just be the tune in conjunction with the larger injectors.

Sometimes it feels like the front passenger is dragging but I’ve hit them with temp gun and all close to the same, front is a lil warmer than rear, I’ve also replace everything but the abs module and hard lines in the brake system. I’ve been told the converter can cause what I’m experiencing

That sounds more like a stock tune.
Drove the truck some miles today and the farther into the drive the louder the engine got and sounded like I was pulling a 53ft reefer trailer, I’m having some injector/timing rattle too.
I’m running some flux 100hp sac that I just got back from them after running test and rebuilding all 6.

The tune that made the most timing rattle on my 05 was the stock tune. My tunes were nearly 6.7 quiet.

That’s a big single, you’re going to want some better tuning for that.
