2004.5 Hold

My Truck on order is still on hold! It been sitting about 100 miles from the dealer waiting for the hold to be releaced for 10 days now. Does anyone else have a truck that is waiting on hold?

2004.5 hold!

I just got off the phone with DC customer service. Mine was finished on the 20th and is still sitting in Mexico waiting to be loaded on a train. They didnt say that it was on hold, but why else would it still be sitting there?

Mine was delivered to the railhead in Denver and is on hold for the exhaust clamp issue. Dealer says they may get it this week.

Called DC this morning and was told mine did not make it to the rail this past week-end. Called several more times today and received different stories. I'm not sure anyone knows what is going on. Was built on January 9th.

Wasn't there a hold on 04. 5's that had something to do with an exhaust clamp?

Placed my order in December and according to DC it was shipped today and I should have it by next week. I ordered a 2004. 5 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab 4X4, 6L Cummins, short bed, Laramie package, automatic. It went into production and was never held up.

Mine was finished on the 20th and is still waiting shipment ?

Mine was built on 1/6. It sat at the plant until there were enough to ship. It is now at the distribution center for the West Coast (Benicia, Ca. ) It is, as of today, still on hold for "Exhaust Clamp". Whenever that issue is resolved, it will be trucked to my dealership in central Calif.



My local dealer will be on the phone with DC tomorrow to find out when trucks are to be released for shipping. I was originally to have received the truck on Feb. 2. Hopefully, this hold will not delay delivery too much. I will update this post concerning the HOLD as soon as I get more info. If anyone has a more recent update, please share with the rest of us. Thanks

I'm starting to think that the hold will go off when the dealers sell all the 2004 truck with the 305/555.

I will call my dealer tomorrow and ask him if he has any ideas about the hold up everyone seems to be having. I could have been told that me truck was being shipped just to make me happy. The guy I deal with is a good friend and has some know about things going on. I will post any feedback I receive from him.
