Engine was replace at approx. 12,000 miles due to a "factory defect"
Very good to excellent condition. Truck is always garaged except when on the road.

I bought the truck new and have the original bill of sale and window sticker.
The truck has never been "chipped".
Roughly half of the miles were towing a relatively light SunnyBrook 27RKFS.
Has a small dent in the rear bumper.
Have all service records.
Truck is very clean inside and out.

Kelly Blue Book listing for a private party sell of this vehicle is at $29,987 (very good condition) to $31,137 (excellent condition) which does not include approximately $2000 of aftermarket enhancements.

Asking price is $28,550. Contact -- email address removed --

Some may have doubts about the very low mileage on my truck. A few words of explanation; in November, 2003 I had a heart attack with a quad bypass and received a implanted heart defibrillator. I had previously made plans to purchase the 2004.5 Ram and went ahead with that purchase. After some heart issues and shocks from the defibrillator, the DW is not comfortable with me towing a trailer and getting far from home (kind of concerns me also). The engine incident in Canada causing us to be stuck in a small town for almost 4 weeks with limited medical support and some on-going health issues has limited our Rving to the point that we sold the fifth-wheel and have no need of the truck.

I can assure all the truck actually has less that 29,000 miles on the odometer and about 16,000 miles on the replacement engine.

I'm sure it won't last, but what defect did the CTD fail from? A rare thing for the newer CTD's. My 04.5 must of been on the same assembly line at the same time yours was, glad mine didn't that engine. That NV5600 makes your truck very valuable, I wish you the best for your health and your sale of the truck. A rare find for some lucky buyer.

Scoop this truck up folks.
I had the infamous 53 block go bad @ 18K. Thankfully,it was in San Diego. I had a new short block in three days. It was replaced with yes, another 53.
My dad had quintuple bypass and lived two and a half decades before succumbing to something unrelated.
You're good to go mate.:D

Trying to figure out what it will cost me to get there and back with the truck from Pennsylvania. Seriously considering it. Hope I can get it figured out before its gone.

The SunnyBrook 5er has been sold and I no longer need a big tow vehicle. So I am lowering the selling price of my truck to $27,000 for a quick sale.

My wife allways reminds me of the sale of 04.5 to my Bro, it'll be a long time till the next one, if we can afford one. I still hear that today, and a new one is $50K+. Congrats on your sale, and the lucky buyer of that truck. I miss mine, with the NV5600 and unmolested power of that 5.9, unlike my G56 and restricted 305HP, emissions and restricted exhaust. You will miss it. ;)

X2 this just makes it harder to find a good deal on a 5.9. And now add dealer sales tax. Doesn't mean they will get their asking price.

In the ebay seller's ad, there is NO mention of a replacement motor either. The engine replacement isn't a big deal, but not stating that it does is not cool. Even Jfrow2 was upfront and honest with us.

If I'd payed more attention to the classified's, Jfrow2's 3500 would have been in my driveway right now.
