I am going to do my brakes in the next few weeks. Any recomendations on a brake pads? Brand and part number? Good place to purchase them? I did a search a was surprised how few posts I even found relating to brakes. I see plenty of differnet pad materials out there in the market and did not know if I should be looking for anything other than the Dodge replacement part.

Thanks, Jeff

I just bought the factory pads. They were pricey but they do last. I actually bought the pads from DC and had them installed. I also had a bad right rear wheel seal that needed to be replaced. The installer said that the right rears seem to leak for some reason.

Usually I'm all for buying cheaper, higher-performance brakes. But jray's right - if the factory pads last a long time for you, it might be worth it to buy them again.

Anyway, like I said I usually buy aftermarket pads from one of the big auto parts houses. Next time, though, I will probably use Rock Auto. I try to get a mid-range pad, and I like semi-metallic (I think they last longer).
