Hello,

I am looking for some trouble shooting help and thought where better to try than here. We have a 2004 Dodge 3500 5.9 that was running fine up until 2 weeks ago. We were driving along the highway doing about 115 km/hr when a cloud of grey/white smoke came out of the tailpipe and the truck lost all power then died. Now it won't start, the initial trouble codes were 0483, 0514, 0524 & 2509. We replaced the crank position sensor, tried unplugging the fan clutch and still nothing. We did plug it in to a code reader and wiped the codes, again still nothing and now there are no codes coming up at all.

Does anyone have any other ideas as to what could be causing this problem? We have also tested to ensure the lift pump is working properly and it is. Running out of ideas on our own.

Thank you in advance!

Don not try to start or turn over you could bend a rod. it won't start if it doesn't have proper pressure in the rail .

You have a lot of stuff going on but could only be one thing wrong too. Some smart guys will be chiming in to help you
