I noticed this afternoon that on the driver door directly forward of the mirror, the corner on the door at the bottom of the windshield is ripping the door seal. Stopped by dealer. Compared to 2002 1500 (same body for purposes of this discussion) the door seal was different. He ordered a new one for each front door. According to the computer it seems in 2004 it changed, while 2002 and 2003 shared same design of door seal, based on part number.
Anyone else having this problem? Only have 1300 miles on truck, so it has not been opened and shut that many times. Passenger door is not starting to rip yet, but it has not been used that much at all. The new door seal sticks out and up much farther than the old, and that corner is pushing into it and ripping. Argh.
